- Hi, I’m Brady, the technician working on your vehicle today. I recharged and tested the battery. The battery tested okay. However, the alternator output was measured at 8.46 volts, which is below the manufacturer’s specification. The low alternator output can cause the vehicle’s electrical system to lose power and may result in the vehicle shutting down. Recommend replacing the alternator and retest the charging system to verify proper operation.
