- perform charging system evaluation found battery at 2 volts proceeded to charge battery. battery will not hold charge drops to about 2.3 volts after about 15 minutes idle. alternator output 14.3 volts which is within specification starter draw is about 2 volts dropping voltage to 11.8 volts when starting which is within spec recommend replace battery and test for parasitic draw vehicle came in with engine knocking noise vehicle is burning oil and knocking upon acceleration possible seal or rod failure
- REMOVED OLD BATTERY AND INSTALLED NEW BATTERY
